Anti-Panic sessions are an opportunity to learn all the do's and don'ts about living with Celiac Disease. It is a a fantastic way to learn how to eat well and be healthy on a gluten-free diet. Bring yourself, your family, friends and your questions. The sessions are free and you may attend as often as you wish.
Linda Arnold and her helpers will take you on an imaginary trip through a grocery store. You will be shown a large variety of foods that are available, learn how to check labels, and how to use your kitchen wisely. Information is provided on products considered safe for the gluten-free diet but we suggest you bring along a digital camera (if you have one) to take pictures of the product labels.
The sessions are held on the second Wednesday of every month. We require that you pre-register to ensure a seat and that we have enough information handouts available.

Location: Hope Lutheran Church, 5104 - 106 Ave. (south side of the river next to Gold Bar Shopping Centre). Please use the east door. Parking is free. Reference books and cookbooks will be available - pay by cash or cheque.

GLUTEN-FREE COOKING
Cooking for gluten-free diets is challenging. This course will address common questions and cooking problems, review recipe conversion and discuss available products. You'll see demonstrations of various recipes, including breads, baked goods and many other flavorsome gluten-free products. Lunch is provided; items prepared are the lunch menu.

EASY INTRODUCTION TO GLUTEN-FREE BAKING
Enjoy an evening of gluten-free baking secrets shared by a self-taught gluten-free queen, Linda Arnold. After a brief introduction to the ins and outs of baking without wheat flour, you'll get into the kitchen to make and sample some easy recipes for pastry, cookies, and crackers.
