How does a restaurant qualify? Businesses that appear on The Celiac Scene™ may offer special gluten-free menus, may note gluten-free options on the regular menus or make gluten-free substitutions when diners inform them of their needs. ALL have a reputation within the local celiac community for providing consistently safe and delicious options.

Safety is our #1 priority. Owned, operated and maintained by celiacs, our maps are updated daily based on feedback from Chapters of the Canadian Celiac Association. Restaurants cannot suggest themselves nor can they purchase their way on to this resource. If we receive a poor report about a posted restaurant, they are removed from the site immediately, the restaurant is emailed a copy of the complaint and the local Chapter of the CCA is notified. We advise that you check www.theceliacscene.com every time that you dine out for the most up to date listing.
